Blonde Sandstone Natural Stack
The rounder edges of Blonde Sandstone come from years of being tumbled by ancient glaciers as the ice age receded. This makes them perfect for a more natural looking installation. Instead of building nearly vertical rock walls, the face of the boulders are staggered yet still fit together to retain the earth. This creates a softer look as well as planting areas and tree pockets.
For years this Springville Utah yard maintained a sloped lawn. Re-Rock was hired to remove the grass and install rock walls and steps.
The back yard was expanded and fence retained.
Three foot wide tan slab steps give easy access to the upper yard.
Flat rocks were placed for a more natural looking staircase
This sloping front lawn was partially removed and a mix of large boulders and small cobble were used to make a natural dry riverbed look.
